Paola was born and raised in Miami, Florida to Colombian immigrants, quickly learning the burdens of responsibility as the eldest of four. To ease some of the financial pressures on her parents, she began working at the age of 14 as a hostess. In high school she was part of the DECA program, which prepares leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and other business areas. She ranked 3rd in her school and 5th in county competitions in her category of fuel and petroleum marketing. As a result of her experience working with AutoNation, USA for the OJT program her senior year, she realized she had a passion for customer service and hospitality.

After high school, Paola enrolled in Broward Community College and began working in the ER of Memorial Healthcare System as a Patient Financial Services Representative. Enjoying the field of healthcare and having always been fascinated by science and anatomy, she began to pursue a career in Massage Therapy. After transferring to the Florida College of Natural Health, where she made the Dean’s list every semester, she graduated at the top of her class with a degree in Natural Health with an emphasis on Massage Therapy.

Paola began her massage career at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino after discovering the profitable and relaxed niche of casino massage. Although she briefly returned to the medical field at a Physical Therapy clinic, she ultimately decided to return to the world of poker massage. She began working with Casino Massage Services in 2011, quickly leveraging her experience and reliability into a regional supervisory position, and ultimately being promoted to General Manager.

Paola’s management style is derived from years of customer service, fantastic people skills, and personal massage experience to create an enjoyable work environment for her team of therapists. Her knowledge of Poker Room rules and procedures allows her to efficiently communicate with casino managers and staff while ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained at all times. Having an active massage and gaming license in multiple states allows her the flexibility to operate in all CMS locations while being able to relate to our therapists and their day to day work life. Years in the industry have allowed her to create a wide network of relationships in the poker industry, allowing her to maintain rapport with professional and recreational players in every state.
